What's New in AnagenX: Inside the Updated Formula

We believe hair loss deserves a more advanced and comprehensive response than what most of the industry currently offers. That's why we created AnagenX, and why we’ve continued to optimize it. After further research into the biology of hair loss and scalp health, we've expanded the formula with four new peptides, each chosen for a specific role in supporting healthier hair growth.

New to AnagenX? We'll start with the original formula and the thinking behind it. Already familiar? Jump ahead to the four new peptides and what each one brings to the table.

What Is AnagenX?

AnagenX is a multi-peptide hair serum built on the understanding that hair loss is a complex, multi-factor problem. Inflammation, poor circulation, follicle dormancy, scalp tissue breakdown, and hormonal activity can all contribute, often at the same time. Traditional treatments tend to address one of these factors at best, and some come with side effects that make long-term use a difficult tradeoff. Peptides offer something different. They work with the body's own signaling systems, targeting specific biological pathways to create the conditions that healthy hair growth actually depends on.

The original AnagenX formula was built around three powerful peptides, GHK-Cu, Stable BPC-157, and GHK-Biotin. Each targets a distinct aspect of scalp and follicle health, from reactivating dormant follicles and improving circulation to reinforcing the structure of the hair shaft itself. You can read the full breakdown in our Peptides for Hair Growth blog.

The updated formula keeps these three original peptides and adds four more for an even more comprehensive approach.

The Four New Peptides

We don't add ingredients without clear intention. Each of the four new peptides has a purpose and builds on the original formula in a meaningful way.

AHK-Cu

AHK-Cu is a copper peptide closely related to GHK-Cu, but with a more focused role. While GHK-Cu works broadly across the scalp, AHK-Cu is especially active at the follicle level, targeting the cells at the base of each follicle that are responsible for driving hair growth.

Studies using human hair follicles have shown that it can encourage follicle elongation and support the survival and multiplication of those cells, directly influencing how long a follicle stays in the growing phase. It also promotes the formation of new blood vessels around the follicle, delivering a steadier supply of nutrients and oxygen to actively growing hair. And it may help regulate a protein that, when elevated, pushes follicles out of the growth phase prematurely and contributes to thinning. (Pyo et al., 2007).

Together with GHK-Cu, AHK-Cu gives AnagenX two complementary copper peptides supporting follicle health from different angles.

KPV

Scalp health and hair health are deeply connected. When even subtle inflammation is present at the scalp level, it can interfere with the hair growth cycle and make it harder for follicles to do their job consistently.

KPV is a small peptide derived from a hormone the body produces naturally, and it has been well studied for its anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to calm overactive inflammatory activity in skin cells, reducing the kind of low-grade irritation that can quietly work against follicle health. It does this by working with the body’s natural processes to regulate inflammation. A scalp with less inflammatory activity is a more hospitable environment for hair to grow.

Decapeptide-52

Follicles sit within the tissue of the scalp, and the health of that surrounding tissue is important. Collagen and elastin are the proteins that keep the scalp firm, elastic, and well-supplied with blood. They hold follicles securely in place and help the skin recover from the daily stresses it absorbs. As we age, the scalp produces less of both, and the tissue becomes thinner and less resilient, making it harder for follicles to stay active and for new growth to take hold.

Decapeptide-52 has been studied for its ability to support collagen and elastin production, which can lead to a firmer, better-supported scalp environment. The connection between scalp tissue quality and follicle health is well established, and keeping that underlying structure in good condition is important for healthy hair growth.

TB4 1-4 Fragment (Ac-SDKP)

Ac-SDKP is a small peptide the body produces naturally, derived from a larger protein involved in tissue repair. It has been studied for its ability to calm inflammation, support the formation of new blood vessels, and protect against fibrosis, the gradual replacement of healthy follicle tissue with scar tissue that is associated with certain types of permanent hair loss.

For the scalp, new blood vessels lead to better circulation, allowing follicles to receive a steadier supply of the nutrients and oxygen they need to stay active. Less inflammation means less interference with the hair growth cycle. And by helping to protect follicle tissue from fibrosis, Ac-SDKP adds a layer of protection against potentially irreversible damage.

The Supporting Ingredients

Three additional ingredients complete the formula, each selected with the same amount of care as the peptides.

Leucidal® is a natural, fermentation-derived preservative made from radish root. It protects the formula from microbial contamination while being gentle on the scalp. ProBiocin V® is a postbiotic complex that supports the scalp's microbiome and helps strengthen its barrier, creating a healthier foundation for follicle activity. Hydrochloric acid is used to balance the formula's acidity, ensuring stability, skin compatibility, and optimal conditions for peptide absorption.

Every ingredient in AnagenX was thoughtfully chosen and has a reason to be there, and that standard applies to everything we do.

Quality You Can Count On

Intentional ingredients only matter if the quality behind them can be trusted. Peptides are precise signaling molecules, and their structure determines how accurately they bind and communicate with cells. Impurities or unnecessary additives can increase irritation and interfere with the very environment the formula is designed to support.

That’s why every peptide in AnagenX is independently tested at a third-party laboratory. Certificates of analysis verify identity, purity, and concentration before anything reaches formulation. The serum is packaged in MIRON Violetglass, which filters harmful light wavelengths that can accelerate peptide degradation, helping preserve stability and biological activity over time.

This level of transparency is foundational to how we operate. When purity is verified and stability is protected, the formula can perform with consistency. And you don’t have to second guess what you’re putting on your skin.

Seven Peptides, One Comprehensive Approach

AnagenX was already built on a more thoughtful approach to hair loss than most of the industry offers. This update takes it further. Rather than targeting a single symptom, it works with the biological processes that drive hair growth, supporting the follicle, the scalp environment, and the surrounding tissue to create the conditions that healthy hair growth actually depends on. Peptides make that possible in a way that most ingredients simply can't. They speak the body's language. Seven of them, each chosen for a specific role, delivering a level of biological precision that most hair formulas never get close to.
